About the treaty…
This interview is by George Lee, former RTE employee and now Fine Gael party member. I include this to backup some of what I said in my post ‘Government Media Control, The Facts’. Its interesting how he alludes to broadcast constraints with regard to restriction of views aired by RTE. The part of the interview I draw attention to is just over two minutes into the interview.
This is a protest in the European parliament. It includes protesters, all elected ministers by their people, from both the left and the right of the political spectrum. All they want is the Lisbon treaty to be put to the people of Europe in a referendum. What’s the problem with that? If the EU really believes in Democracy, why not let the people vote? Let the people vote then give the people what they want. Oh no hang on a second what if the people want something different to what we want?
Here you are invited to answer some questions. I am interested in what is behind peoples attitudes when forming opinions and what those opinions are. You’re particpation is welcome and the more people that vote, the more accurate the precentages will be. Thank you.
